Non Dangerous Goods

One of Tribomar’s greatest achievements, when it comes to contribution for the environment was the developing of a truly organic based reagent usable and compatible with not only Tribomar’s but with other makers devices as well.

 

By using Tribomar’s organic reagents, it is garanteed that there will be no danger or risk for the crew or the environment. Since Trimobar products are made from renewable and organic based sources, there is a significantly less damaging impact on the environment, our seas and staff.

Less Reagents

Tribomar’s team is constantly working on more and more efficient procedures for onboard testing as well as the other devices. With the TriboCon MkII, Tribomar can promise 40% savings on BN and Water content reagents due to the new design. Here there is significantly less reagent needed.

This is not only supporting the environment through reducing waste, but also being more cost- efficient for customers.

 

Less Waste

Three-quarter of the oceans waste consists of plastic. To be exact that is around 4 – 12 million tons every year. Tens of thousands of animals are killed due to this alarming amount of plastic waste. However not only animals are in danger. The shipping industry is facing severe issues as well. Fishnets or other larger plastic parts could easily get stuck in the ships propellor. The overall economic costs are estimated at around 15 billion US Dollars every year.

Tribomar mission is to effectively counteract this rising issue with the best possible way. Tribomar retracted most of the use in plastic and renounced the majority of overpackaging wherever it was possible. Tribomar is always interested in researching and developing new ways to make its products and measurement processes more eco-friendly.

 
Change from Reagents to Pills – in addition to the other actions, Tribomar is taking to help the nature and seas recover, they have also changed reagents formula for iron testing from being a mere liquid to a solid-state pill since 2018.
