- The rescue boat release hook has been designed to meet the latest regulations and requirements for davit launched rescue boats.
- Compliant according following Regulations/Standards: SOLAS 74 as amended, regulation III/4, III/16, III/34 & X/3, LSA Code and 2000 HSC Code 8.
- Safe Working Load (SWL) – 21 kN.
- The release hook is made of stainless steel and only requires periodical inspection and greasing.
- The release hook consist of a safety latch with moving handle which is equipped with a spring to move back the handle in closed position.
- Manual release of the boat when waterborne. Stationary and moving handle are to enable easier release of the hook.
